For the past six years, I’ve dedicated my career to telling stories through branding and product design. My journey has been defined by a relentless passion for creativity, discipline, and an unwavering commitment to bringing ideas to life. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside top CEOs, creative directors, and innovative teams, gaining valuable insights and establishing trustable relationships that have shaped my approach to design.

I leverage a wide array of creative tools to achieve success, consistently demonstrating my expertise in delivering solutions that are both impactful and innovative. My approach is deeply strategic, ensuring that every idea is not only visually appealing but also purposeful and aligned with the goals of the brands I work with.

🏢 Enterprise Hubs

Launching my career with Enterprise Hubs marked the start of my journey in versatile, brand-focused design.

My ambition to pursue a multi-dimensional design career began during my time at Enterprise Hubs, a business hub owned by Pedestal Africa Limited, dedicated to supporting emerging enterprises across Nigeria and Africa. Enterprise Hubs offered me invaluable experience within its integrated network of shared workspaces, virtual offices, business support services, and enterprise development programs. I initially joined as a part-time graphic designer, handling critical marketing design tasks—from flyers and brochures to signage, social media visuals, and posters—all onsite.

In a short time, I transitioned to a hybrid role, and eventually remote, as I gained a deep understanding of the company’s operations. Working under the mentorship of Dr. Paul Arinze, Pedestal Africa’s visionary President, I was encouraged to explore beyond my graphic design skills and dive into brand communication, content creation, social media management, ad marketing, and team coordination. This journey began with the rebranding of Pedestal Africa and its daughter brands, a foundational project that expanded my expertise.

One memorable day in 2019, Dr. Paul and I sat down to review the newly designed logo and business card for Pedestal Africa—a milestone moment that represented my growth and the impact of my work. I was privileged to work on several key projects, including the Pedestal Africa website redesign, interface revamp for Enterprise Hubs, and UI and web designs for other subsidiaries like THRIVE Business and Africa Franchise Center. Each project taught me resilience, adaptability, and the power of collaboration with talented minds across countless online meetings. Through this experience, I developed into a strategic, versatile designer prepared to meet the evolving demands of brand design.

2020

🏢 Chelleluxe Concierge

Collaborating with Michelle Anene during a challenging global shift expanded my approach to creative design and brand leadership.

In 2020, as the world shifted to remote work due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I joined Chelleluxe Concierge, a UK-based private personal assistant company that supports busy entrepreneurs by helping them find balance and reclaim time in their personal and professional lives. At Chelleluxe, I initially focused on creating engaging social media and marketing materials that conveyed the brand’s commitment to providing seamless support to clients, allowing them to pursue fulfilling lives while Chelleluxe handled their day-to-day needs.

Working directly with Michelle Anene, Chelleluxe’s CEO, was a game-changer. She recognized my potential not only as a creative designer but also as a brand strategist. Our collaboration evolved from design work to strategic discussions on how to grow the business and enhance her personal brand to reflect the company’s vision. I vividly remember a pivotal call where we delved into ways to strategically position her as the face of Chelleluxe, aligning her personal image with the company’s goals. This discussion led to an in-depth brand strategy session where we outlined her vision and developed actionable steps for expansion.

My time at Chelleluxe wasn’t just about honing my design skills; it was an opportunity to learn brand strategy in a way that has since shaped my career. Among my most impactful projects were the brand strategy development and the user interface revamp for the company’s website, both of which played key roles in reinforcing Chelleluxe’s mission. This role deepened my understanding of strategic brand positioning, laying a foundation for future growth.

2021

🏢 Torilo Group

Visual/Product Designer

Torilo Group brought my dream of working in tech to life, blending design and strategy in a high-tech, fast-paced environment.

Working with Torilo Group marked a new level in my career. My role as a Creative & Product Designer allowed me to express my skills in high-tech, modern design with a focus on minimalism, user experience, and interactive design. This opportunity came with the adoption of agile methodology, daily scrum meetings, and close collaboration with a talented team of illustrators, motion designers, and software engineers.

A pivotal moment in my journey was our collective task to rebrand Torilo and its daughter brands. Each team member brought fresh concepts to their sketchboards, envisioning a cohesive new face for the company. This collaborative process involved several brainstorming and work sessions to refine our vision. When the final logo for Torilo was established, the brand identity easily extended across all subsidiaries. Leading the creative direction, I worked with my team to develop the new logos and comprehensive brand guidelines. Shortly afterward, we began planning a complete website revamp, which led to a memorable design retreat in an Airbnb space set up as a creative workspace. This retreat provided the ideal environment for intensive ideation and collaboration, enabling us to reach new heights in bringing the projects to life.

One of my most remarkable experiences was contributing to Torilo’s new product, Bizedge. I collaborated with other product designers, product managers, and developers on key modules like Onboarding, Fleet Management, and Accounting. My responsibilities spanned user research, flowchart creation, wireframing, and user interface and interaction design.

Beyond design and technical tasks, working closely with Torilo’s CEO, Seun Farinre, was transformative. His mentorship helped me rethink my career, purpose, and approach to tech. During a reflective conversation, he shared his vision, and after discussing mine, he provided guidance on achieving them. This experience left me inspired and ready to make a meaningful impact in the tech industry and beyond.

Brand/Product Designer

Collaborating with Paul Chukwuma on Build™ was a dynamic journey of innovation and growth.

In 2023, I had the privilege of working with Paul Chukwuma, a leader with a unique blend of analytical acumen, strategic insight, and strong interpersonal skills. As CEO of Build™, Paul envisioned a brand that not only stood for transformation but embodied it. Together, we crafted Build’s visual identity, logo, and brand manual, capturing its mission to turn ideas into impact and entrepreneurs into leaders.

Build™ centers on four personality tenets: confident and forward-looking, expert and insightful, impactful and revenue-driven, and authentic yet relatable. Each of these values informed my design approach, especially for the logo. The brick icon I designed became a symbol of Build’s foundational strength, reliability, and commitment to building meaningful results. Every detail of the icon carries significance: from its representation of resilience and adaptability to the sense of community and collaboration it conveys. Much like bricks forming a robust structure, Build™ aims to provide clients with solid foundations for growth, reflecting the company’s steadfast dedication and limitless potential.

In addition to branding, I took on the challenge of designing and developing Build’s UI/UX for their website on Webflow. Collaborating closely with Paul, I strategized and crafted the website’s content, designing each section with modern UI techniques to position Build™ among leading, successful businesses. Transitioning from design to Webflow development allowed me to take my work a step further, applying advanced interactions and experiences to engage users and attract prospective clients.

This project deepened my skill set, transitioning from Product Design into Webflow development and broadening my understanding of AI’s potential impact on design. Working on Build™ was a milestone for my career, sparking my aspirations to create future AI-driven products that further enhance user experiences.

Joining UXU marked a pivotal chapter in my career, bringing both a sense of family and a platform for next-level creativity.

As the world moved to embrace remote work, I saw an opportunity to finally focus on my ideas and bring them to life in a space of my own. Having already developed a solid foundation in teamwork, this phase felt perfectly timed. In 2022, Paul Chukwuma, a Talent Acquisition Strategist at Research Bookmark, invited me to join as a Visual/Product Designer, setting the stage for a new level of impact. Research Bookmark wasn’t just another UX company in the U.S.; it felt like a family from day one.

 Oladosu Teyibo, one of the company founders, reinforced this feeling by organizing end-of-month meetings that celebrated wins, mapped out future goals, and included team-bonding activities like games.
At Research Bookmark, our mission focused on building a user experience (UX) education platform that supports students, newcomers, and problem solvers looking to deepen their UX knowledge. From our courses to our resources, our team strived to provide practical, high-quality training to help people build valuable UX skills and stay current with industry trends. This shared vision helped shape every project I worked on, from designing social media and webinar creatives to building and refining brand elements. Collaborating closely with Paul, my lead, and the larger creative team of product managers, content writers, social media managers, and engineers, taught me a lot about empathy and effective team management. Paul’s mentoring was an experience I valued deeply; his insightful feedback made every project feel like a step forward.

Working alongside Yao Adantor, a Senior UX Researcher, Adjunct Professor, and one of the founders, was equally inspiring. He was not only passionate about UX education but also proactive in creating spaces where our work could reach wider audiences. He organized UXCON’24, a yearly UX event that draws UX professionals from across the country. When he asked me to create a speaker deck for his appearance at UX Insight, one of the biggest UX conferences, I saw it as a chance to go beyond conventional design. I developed branded icons, UX Archetypes, and custom stickers for his presentation, which allowed me to dive deeper into UX concepts. The positive feedback from the team on this project was incredibly encouraging.

Another standout project was redesigning brand elements for Research Bookmark’s online presence. I worked on revamping the website’s interface, developing a new design system that could be adopted across products. These products included RB Search (a hub for UX resources), Research Co-pilot (an AI assistant for research), UX Research Skillshop (a skills-focused research workshop), UX GYM (offering UX challenges and expert feedback), and UXCON’24, an event that brought UX enthusiasts together.

Of all my experiences at Research Bookmark, UXCON’24 was a highlight. Working from the ground up, I created the brand identity for the event, including logo design, color palettes, t-shirt designs, and various marketing assets. I designed UI for the UXCON’24 website, which I later developed on Google Site. Each step of this project was an exercise in connecting with the audience and crafting an event experience that drew participants in. In the final stages, I designed presentation decks and speaker slides for unveiling new developments at Research Bookmark, including a project called UX University.

During the UXCON event, Yao introduced this new initiative, revealing Research Bookmark’s evolution into UX University. This new identity was more than a rebranding—it was a transformation of the company into a global, community-driven institution focused on continuous UX education through courses, webinars, workshops, and expert-led forums. Working on UX University allowed me to take on a comprehensive rebranding, from logo design to the entire visual identity. Reflecting on the entire journey, I am grateful to have been part of a team that values collaboration and vision, alongside talented colleagues like Yao, Oladosu, Paul, Cavendish, and Ella.
